Power ranking 49ers 10 best players in 2019 regular season
No. 10: Fred Warner
After flashing so much potential his rookie season, linebacker Fred Warner has continued to make leaps as the 49ers young leader in its front seven.
Warner once again led the team in tackles, recording 118 tackles (89 solo) for the year. He recorded seven tackles for loss, three sacks, five quarterback hits, had an interception, which he returned for a touchdown and forced three fumbles.
All of the above stats, except for the tackles, were improvements over his rookie season.
At this rate, Warner will be an absolute steal as a third-round draft selection if he continues to grow as the young leader we’ve been seeing the last two seasons.
