The San Francisco 49ers crushed their way through the regular season and these five players should play a big impact in what happens in the 2020 NFL playoffs.

It’s safe to say the season that the San Francisco 49ers have had far exceeded fan expectations for a team which, just a year ago, finished with a total of just four wins.

But now that the full potential of the 49ers has been revealed, we are eager to see what this team can do in the 2020 NFL playoffs.

A 13-3 and No. 1-seed finish will force us to be patient, as the Niners will have a Round 1 bye week before playing their first postseason game in the divisional round of the playoffs. The team as a whole has stepped up again and again in clutch situations to solidify the well-deserved title of top dog in the NFC.

Plays like tight end George Kittle‘s fourth-down reception against the New Orleans Saints and linebacker Dre Greenlaw‘s goal-line game-saving tackle against the Seattle Seahawks, closing out both the top seed and NFC West crown, come to mind when looking at the year in review.

The Niners have had numerous players step up again and again in crucial spots, which are a big reason why the team has gotten this far.

Expect them to continue to need key players to contribute if they hope to make a serious run at Super Bowl LIV.

Read on to see who Niner Noise believes will thrive throughout the 2020 playoffs.
