The San Francisco 49ers visit the Baltimore Ravens in a highly anticipated Week 13 matchup. Niner Noise previews the contest with stats, X-factors, injuries and much more.

The two hottest teams in the NFL right now are the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.

So it’s only natural these two teams would be squaring off in a highly touted Week 13 matchup, which could ultimately end up being a preview for Super Bowl LIV later this February.

The 10-1 Niners were a missed overtime field goal against the Seattle Seahawks from being undefeated, while the 9-2 Ravens have averaged 43 points of offense per game over their last four contests. Baltimore hasn’t just been beating its opponents, it’s been demolishing them, including a 45-6 beatdown of the Los Angeles Rams back on Monday Night Football in Week 12.

Meanwhile, San Francisco is coming off its own statement game against the Green Bay Packers, throttling this longtime rival 37-8 on Sunday Night Football, too.

This epic bout will feature the league’s likely MVP candidate, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, going up against a top-ranked 49ers pass defense. The weather will be a factor as well, which throws an extra element into a game which will feature plenty of shakeup s and surprises.

There’s also plenty on the line for the red and gold, too, in their playoff push. While the Niners still retain the No. 1 spot in the NFC, the New Orleans Saints’ win on over the Atlanta Falcons means they’re right on San Francisco’s heels in the playoff race. Both Seattle and Green Bay aren’t far behind, either.

A win in Baltimore would say a lot about the 49ers, while a loss could shake things up quite a bit.

Niner Noise previews this epic showdown, taking a look at both teams’ numbers, a quarterback comparison, injuries, X-factors and much, much more.
