Game ball No. 1: Tight End George Kittle

Guess who’s back, back again?

49ers Pro Bowl tight end George Kittle was back out on the field after missing the past two games, when he sustained a knee and ankle injury against the Arizona Cardinals on Halloween back in Week 9.

Kittle’s impact on the game was tremendous. He set the edge in the run game, freeing up space for the running backs to get loose, and he caught all six of his targets for 129 yards.

Including a beautifully dialed up and executed 61-yard touchdown late in the third quarter from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

With Kittle in the lineup, the 49ers offense is nearly unstoppable.

Kittle, playing hurt, still showcased his prowess to create yards after the catch. And with the 49ers boasting a relatively healthy receiving corps, the Packers were unable to focus the entirety of their defense on stopping the playmaking tight end.
