The route was on Sunday Night at Levi’s Stadium as the San Francisco 49ers pulverized the Green Bay Backers 37-8. Niner Noise spotlights the top three performances and dishes out game balls to the top performers.

After the San Francisco 49ers‘ blazing hot start to the 2019 season and an NFC-best record of 9-1, the media and fans alike circled the team’s Week 12 Sunday Night Football matchup against the Green Bay Packers as must-see television.

Sadly, this was only the case for about the first nine minutes of the game.

The route was on Sunday night at Levi’s Stadium as the San Francisco 49ers pulverized the Green Bay Backers 37-8 to improve to 10-1 on the season, retaining the hold on the top spot in the conference and sending Green Bay to an 8-3 record.

The Niners held Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a mere 104 passing yards, while Green Bay’s potent offense went just 1-of-15 on third-down attempts. Rodgers was sacked five times and never looked comfortable in the pocket. On the flips side, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo completely outperformed his counterpart, tossing for 253 yards with two touchdowns against zero interceptions.

San Francisco was up 23-0 by halftime, and the Packers never had a chance to even make the game interesting. In terms of one-sided matchups, this was about as big as it gets, especially considering the context between these two playoff-hopeful squads.

Needless to say, there were a lot of key contributions, and Niner Noise spotlights the top three performances and dishes out game balls from this Week 12 drubbing.
