BYE

The Patriots stay put in our NFL power rankings for Week 11, coming off their bye week, which followed head coach Bill Belichick and Co.’s first loss of the season against the Ravens.

Like they almost always seem to do, the Patriots will figure out how to bounce back from the loss, and having the bye to manage the mistakes and correct them won’t bode well for their next opponent, the Eagles.

Still reigning supreme as the No. 1 seed in the AFC, the Pats essentially control their own destiny from this point onward. New England’s loss to the Ravens could have some implications elsewhere, as far as strength of schedule and other teams’ records against Baltimore. But that’s about it.

Hosting the Chiefs in Week 14, along with a Week 16 bout against the Bills, are the only two notable games where the competition to the Patriots looks legit enough.
