L, 35-32 @ Titans

The Chiefs have slowly watched their once-solid hold on the AFC West evaporate in recent weeks. After starting off the year 4-0, Kansas City has now lost four of its last six games, including the offensive shootout in Tennessee against the Titans.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes came back and was awesome, tossing for 446 yards and three touchdowns. But he doesn’t play defense, and the Chiefs defense is still bad.

It could be the team’s undoing this season, particularly if Kansas City loses out in the division race, particularly with the Raiders only half a game behind in the standings now.

The Chiefs have a bye in Week 11, where they’ll hope to figure out all that’s wrong, defensively, before squaring off in what will be a massively important Week 12 home bout against the Raiders. Then, it’s onto the Patriots in Week 13.

Losing either of those two games could shake things up dramatically for Kansas City.
