NFL power rankings, Week 11: 32 teams’ playoff picture outlook
By Peter Panacy
L, 19-16 @ Browns
If it weren’t for the Texans’ bye week, the Bills would drop a spot in our NFL power rankings.
Either way, Buffalo is coming back to earth a bit after its hot start to the year, losing two of its last three games following the road loss in Cleveland and a missed would-be game-tying field goal in the waning seconds.
On a positive note, however, the Bills will have an excellent chance to bounce back on the road against the Dolphins in Week 11 before hosting the Broncos the following week.
The Bills are still safely in the AFC Wild Card picture, currently holding the No. 5 seed. So this loss to the Browns doesn’t hurt in a major way.
But Buffalo will have to win at least one of their remaining tough contests, particularly against the Ravens, Cowboys, Steelers or Patriots, to stay in the top six within the conference.
