No. 5: Cornerback K’Waun Williams

K’Waun Williams versus Tyler Lockett. That could be the most important one-on-one matchup for San Francisco in Week 10.

Pro Football Focus ranked Williams the No. 5 overall corner in the league entering Week 10 out of 116 qualifiers. To date, Williams already has two interceptions, 22 tackles and half a sack.

But Lockett, whom Seattle loves to utilize out of the slot, presents more than an enticing challenge. Lockett is the Seahawks’ leading wide receiver, already posting an astounding 59 receptions for 767 yards and six touchdowns — all leading numbers for Seattle’s offense.

And Russell Wilson is posting a 158.0 passer rating when targeting Lockett this season, according to PFF’s Scott Barrett. For those not in the know, a perfect passer rating is 158.3.

It’s likely San Francisco will shift some help in Williams’ direction. But his one-on-one matchup against a likely Pro Bowl wide receiver will have huge implications on the game’s outcome.
