The San Francisco 49ers host the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10 on Monday Night Football, and cornerback K’Waun Williams and the defense will have their hands full in the game.

For the still-undefeated San Francisco 49ers, their prime-time Week 10 matchup against the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks will be the toughest challenge yet in 2019.

The Seahawks certainly look to be the strongest opponent head coach Kyle Shanahan and Co. have faced this season. And a win for the Niners not only would put greater distance between these two teams in the NFC West, but it could also have significant implications in the overall NFC playoff picture this January.

A big reason why San Francisco remains undefeated this season has been the defense, which ranks No. 2 overall in scoring and has given up the fewest yards per game in 2019 so far.

Yet a key X-factor in this particular contest is how the 49ers handle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who is playing at an MVP-caliber level already this year. Out of his nine starts so far, Wilson has tossed for a passer rating less than 100 just once — a Week 7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Needless to say, Wilson versus the Niners defense is going to be a key storyline to watch Monday night.

Among those defenders, cornerback K’Waun Williams will be a player to watch, too. Williams has been one of San Francisco’s most reliable defensive backs this season. But like the Niners having to deal with Wilson, Williams will also have one of his toughest challenges in 2019, defending Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett.

Let’s look at Williams and four other 49ers defenders who need to provide a massive impact in Week 10 on Monday Night Football.
