The San Francisco 49ers are the only undefeated team but now face a challenge with the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks looming. Here are three questions that need answers heading into the Monday Night Football bout.

The San Francisco 49ers managed to stay undefeated during a Week 9 slate of games when multiple playoff contenders were challenged. The Seattle Seahawks needed overtime to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Minnesota Vikings lost to a Patrick Mahomes-less Kansas City Chiefs team, the Green Bay Packers were shut down by the Los Angeles Chargers and the previously undefeated New England Patriots lost to the Baltimore Ravens.

As a result, the Niners have sprung to the top of power rankings and the NFL leader board, but now the challenges begin. They will soon face the Packers, who reside atop the NFC North, the Saints, who are nipping at the Niners’ heels’ for home-field advantage in the playoffs. But before all that, the 49ers come home to Levi’s Stadium on Monday Night Football to face the division rival and 7-2 Seahawks, led now almost exclusively by MVP front-runner, quarterback Russell Wilson.

Even though the Seahawks may be narrowly eking out victories, they are only 1.5 games back of the Niners for the division lead. At the end of the day, the style of victories don’t matter. The number does.

So while the 49ers may be considered the favorites heading into their prime-time showdown, here are three concerns they should address to make sure they’ll stay in command of the division down the stretch.
