The Washington Redskins have struggled for a while now to grab a key impact wide receiver. And while they have glaring needs elsewhere, particularly along the offensive line and within the secondary, getting a big-time playmaker like Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy would be a huge boost.

It would also help put to rest Redskins fans’ memories of grabbing a bust receiver, Josh Doctson.

Some could easily make the argument the 6-foot-1, 192-pound Jeudy is the top prospect in this year’s NFL Draft, perhaps even better than Chase Young. Maybe that’s a stretch, but there’s good enough reason Jeudy is the best offensive player coming out next year.

Plus, considering the investment Washington made in quarterback Dwayne Haskins this year, providing him with bona fide weapons is never a bad idea.
