No. 2: The deal for Emmanuel Sanders looks like a masterstroke

It’s only two games in, but the deal general manager John Lynch made for Emmanuel Sanders is looking like an absolute masterstroke right now.

Jimmy Garoppolo and Sanders have enjoyed instant chemistry from the very first game and that was evident again against the Cardinals.

Sanders had seven catches for 112 yards and a touchdown (his second from his two games with San Francisco), and had several key catches on third down to move the chains.

Over his two games with San Francisco, Sanders has had 11 catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns. Hypothetically over a full season that would be 88 catches for 1,096 yards and 16 touchdowns.

A touch unrealistic, but it’s the level of the chemistry that Sanders has with Garoppolo.

Sanders has fitted in seamlessly in San Francisco. For what basically amounts to a late third rounder, this could be yet another masterstroke by Lynch.

The only question is, will he sign on?
