49ers Injury Report for Week 9

The Niners held their short-week practices during the evening at Levi’s Stadium, preparing for the nighttime kickoff in Arizona.

Speaking of the short week, it creates some problems for an already banged-up Niners squad, which is affected by the following injuries:

There appeared to be an outside chance Staley would return, as he appeared close to go in Week 8 against the Panthers. But Kyle Shanahan told reporters the veteran left tackle was downgraded, likely making him available for San Francisco’s Week 10 game against the Seattle Seahawks instead.

Breida, Mostert and Skule are banged up, which doesn’t bode well for a short week. But it also affords the Niners to limit all three in practice.
