No. 3: EDGE Nick Bosa

Rookie edge rusher Nick Bosa is beginning to become a staple member of these types of postgame analyses for the 49ers, and with good reason. He’s making a menace of himself on a weekly basis for opposing quarterbacks.

Bosa finished the game against Washington with seven total tackles, including four for loss, one quarterback hit and one sack (and slide), which closed out an already impressive performance for the Niners pass-rusher.

For his efforts, Bosa not only received recognition here, but was also recognized by NFL Network as their Rookie Performance of the Day:

It’s no secret Bosa has been a key member of this 49ers defense so far this year, a unit which has been performing at near-historical levels so far this season. He might not always have the numbers to back up his impact for the casual viewer, but he’s clearly one of the key cogs on that side of the ball.
