The San Francisco 49ers won an ugly, rain-soaked game over the Washington Redskins on Sunday to run their record to 6-0. Niner Noise takes a look at three players who impressed during the contest.

To call the San Francisco 49ers9-0 win over the Washington Redskins on Sunday ugly might be the biggest understatement in the NFL for Week 7.

The playing surface at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland was soaked with rain due to Tropical Storm Nestor’s remains coming through the Washington, D.C. area, and finding steady footing or a solid grip of the football was often a challenge for both teams. The final score is fairly indicative of the play on the field, as the 49ers managed to win with just three field goals from kicker Robbie Gould.

In spite of that, there were several 49er players who were quite good on Sunday, as the team overcame the conditions and a feisty Redskins squad to maintain their unbeaten record, getting to 6-0 for the third time in franchise history.

Given the game’s final score, it should come as no surprise that the focus here is on the defensive side of the ball, starting with the 49ers’ No. 2 overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, EDGE Nick Bosa, who had himself quite a game.
