No. 1: George Kittle domination

Even though George Kittle is listed as the number two tight end by NFL Network’s Michael Fabiano, Kittle hasn’t been an other-worldly performer this season.

We’re talking 16 receptions for 165 yards and zero touchdowns for the season. Nevertheless, if there ever were a time for Kittle to make a splash, it’s on Monday Night Football.

The Browns are the 13th easiest defense against quarterbacks and the sixth easiest against tight ends. Jimmy Garoppolo has had eyes for Kittle in the end zone several times, and every time a would-be touchdown has been negated by a penalty.

This is the game in which to fix that.

It helps the Browns might be without the services of cornerbacks Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams, so that would certainly strengthen the case for a Garoppolo-Kittle hookup on Monday Night Football, but it’s not certain.

Furthermore, depending on how the dust settles on the Browns secondary, Kittle will have to beat out either Morgan Burnett or Jermaine Whitehead. If Burnett is out, then Kittle will feast. All Jimmy G has to do is stay upright and get Kittle the rock.
