Byes are boring. Bye week mock drafts are not. Niner Noise puts the week off for the San Francisco 49ers to good use, with a full mock for the 2020 NFL Draft locked in.

As the San Francisco 49ers finish their bye week and start to prepare for their Monday Night Football showdown with the Cleveland Browns in Week 5, fans can finally look forward to some Niners football again.

To finish off, I thought a mock draft would be fun to do. I mean, why not?

The 49ers don’t have a pick in the second round, as a result of their offseason trade for EDGE Dee Ford. They do, however, have an additional pick in the seventh round, as a result of trading linebacker Eli Harold to the Detroit Lions ahead of the 2018 season.

As the current leader of the conference (it feels good to type that, even if it’s early days yet), I assigned the 49ers No. 31 overall in the first round, which will be reflected and repeated with their own picks in the subsequent rounds throughout.

As well as immediate needs, I’ll be thinking also of the future of the team. A cornerback or a running back may not make sense for 2020, but it will perhaps later on.

So let’s take a look at this post-bye week edition of the 49ers mock 2020 NFL Draft, breaking down which players might be on San Francisco’s radar this upcoming spring.
