The Philadelphia Eagles have been something of an anomaly this season, finding themselves 2-2 at the first quarter mark.

Philly’s defense remains stout up front, and there aren’t too many moves necessary there. Perhaps a good pass-rusher, or two, would do some good. But the smart choice with the Eagles’ top pick in Round 1 would be to grab a cornerback.

Florida’s C.J. Henderson has seen his stock rise this year, and it wouldn’t be shocking at all to see him wind up going in the teens.

If the Eagles wind up drafting here, he’d be a solid player to replace boundary cornerback Sidney Jones, whose regular injuries have caused all kinds of disappointment in Philadelphia.

The Eagles could then look for a running back, which is also a pressing need, in later rounds of the draft.
