Yes, the Cardinals may actually be a better team than many thought entering 2019. But that doesn’t mean Arizona is a good team. No, there’s still a long way to go before the Cardinals return to any sort of relevance or prominence.

The Baltimore Ravens shut down the Cardinals rushing attack early, even though running back David Johnson picked up a touchdown on the ground.

This forced rookie quarterback Kyler Murray to attempt 40 passes, 25 of which were complete, and the young signal-caller managed nearly 350 yards in the losing effort.

Still, Arizona had zero answers for Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

In fairness, a lot of teams around the league will probably suffer a similar fate.
