The San Francisco 49ers went to Cincinnati and took care of the Bengals with an impressive 41-17 victory. The team starts off the year with back-to-back wins on the road.

The San Francisco 49ers proved to be too much for the Cincinnati Bengals to handle from opening kickoff in Week 2, coming away with a lopsided 41-17 victory at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday. The Niners dominated in every phase of the game. The team starts out with a 2-0 record on the road for the first time since 1989.

The 49ers offense exploded with over 300 yards through the air and 259 yards on the ground for a whopping total of 572 yards against the Bengals defense.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 297 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Matt Breida led the rushing attack with 121 yards on just 12 attempts. Rookie wide receiver Deebo Samuel led the Niners pass-catchers with 87 yards and a touchdown on five catches.

The Niners defense held the Bengals to just 25 yards on the ground. They applied constant pressure on opposing quarterback Andy Dalton sacking him four times. Linebacker Kwon Alexander bounced back from last game’s ejection against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with an interception and six tackles against Cincinnati.

It was an outstanding team victory for the 49ers, who will host their first home game of the season next week with a matchup against the 0-2 Pittsburgh Steelers.

There was obviously a ton of standout Niners players in the win against Cincinnati. Read on to see who Niner Noise believes to be the three players and groups, which had the most impressive performances.
