. Previous: . Detroit Lions. 25. team. 50.

The Detroit Lions suffer a small hit in NFL power rankings, largely due to some notable injuries to linebacker Jarrad Davis and center Frank Ragnow during the team’s Week 3 preseason loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Perhaps both players are able to return in Week 1, and the Lions better hope that’s the case. Particularly with Ragnow.

Detroit’s offensive line has been problematic for most of the preseason, and this could potentially spell issues for quarterback Matthew Stafford.

And not just early on in 2019 either.

Unfortunately for Lions fans, Detroit is still one of those uninspiring teams at the back end of NFL power rankings. Even if fans disagree with the placement, the Lions are still the worst team in the NFC North despite efforts trying to improve during the offseason.
