Preseason is officially behind us. Now we can start to preview the 2019 regular season. Niner Noise breaks down the NFC West and how the San Francisco 49ers will fare in the division.

The 2019 NFL Draft was an exciting time for San Francisco 49ers fans. The Niners held the No. 2 overall pick in the draft and selected arguably the year’s most talented rookie, pass-rusher Nick Bosa from Ohio State University. They were also able to scoop up some flashy weapons for head coach Kyle Shanahan’s potent offense: players like wide receivers Deebo Samuel from South Carolina and Jalen Hurd from Baylor.

The Niners were also extremely active in free agency, adding defensive talents like linebacker Kwon Alexander, edge-rusher Dee Ford, and cornerback Jason Verrett. They also added veteran running back Tevin Coleman to an already talented group.

The draft seems like a long time ago and free agency even longer than that. While fans surely followed what the 49ers were up to this offseason, they may not have paid close attention to the moves the NFC West foes were making.

That’s OK! Niner Noise has got you covered.

We will look back on the key additions and losses each NFC West team made in the offseason and what impact it will have on the upcoming regular season. More importantly, Niner Noise will break down just how San Francisco stacks up against a shifting division, which underwent more than a handful of changes during the offseason.

Starting off with the Arizona Cardinals, who have a new face of the franchise in quarterback Kyler Murray.
