Stock down: Jimmy Garoppolo

Alright, let’s get this out of the way.

Was Jimmy Garoppolo poor? Yes.

Is it time to panic? No.

There’s no use sugarcoating the interception. Garoppolo was under pressure and threw an air ball instead of taking the sack. It wasn’t showing good poise.

That being said, it was his first bit of competitive action since his injury. And if there was any game where the rust was going to shine through, it would be this game.

Garoppolo was unable to find much rapport in his receivers due to his performance, but that will come with time.

Was it a stinker? Yes. But let’s not overreact.
