Round 6: RB Kenyan Drake, Miami Dolphins
Miami Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake falls to us in the sixth round thanks to his pedestrian training camp and a recent foot injury that will keep the back out of action for the remainder of the preseason:
Flores said Kenyan Drake, in a walking boot, has an injury that will be a while but said team hopeful ready for opener.

Due to the injury, sophomore running back Kalen Ballage is shooting up draft boards despite rushing for under 200 yards during his rookie season. Although the 6-foot-10 bruiser will lead the Dolphins’ backfield during the preseason, few view him as a long-term answer at the position:
Fun with numbers: Kenyan Drake vs. Kalen Ballage according to 2018 missed tackle rate. (h/t @PFF)

Drake - 23.3%
Ballage - 5.5%
The latter is powerful, but possesses the elusiveness of an anchored ship.
FEED DRAKE. That is all.
Drake played second fiddle to veteran running back Frank Gore in 2018, but still managed to score nine touchdowns while amassing over 1,000 yards from scrimmage. In 2017, Drake sat behind Jay Ajayi, who failed to find the end zone at a 3.4 yards-per-carry clip, followed by an ineffective Damien Williams. Finally, Drake was given the starting job and finished the season averaging 4.8 yards-per-carry.
Once again in 2019, Drake is the most talented player in Miami’s backfield. We take advantage of his sliding draft stock and snatch the potential breakout running back in the sixth round of our ideal fantasy football mock draft.
