5 things we learned from 49ers preseason win vs. Cowboys

Not much to say here. The 49ers finished the game with 18 penalties for 216 yards and somehow still managed to come away with the win.

Kyle Shanahan has almost certainly let his players know how he feels about this and it can’t have been pretty. Undisciplined play like we saw last night will not fly once the season kicks off Week 1 in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers.

With this being the first preseason game of 2019, it’s far from time to panic. But the team has to get this fixed.

Look for the team to improve on this next Monday night in Denver against the Broncos.
