San Francisco 49ers: 10 players to watch during 2019 training camp

No. 8: Wide Receiver Trent Taylor
Like Richard Sherman, wide receiver Trent Taylor is looking for a bounce-back season after dealing with a nagging injury.
In Taylor’s case, a back injury thwarted his second-year efforts, which stood in stark contrast to the promising numbers he put up during his rookie season:

Now fully recovered, Taylor will look to regain the kind of prowess he had back in 2017. Remember, Taylor finished with 19 third-down receptions for a first down last year — good for 19th in the league and also tied with the Los Angeles Rams’ Cooper Kupp for the most among rookie pass catchers.
That’s the kind of production San Francisco is seeking out of Taylor again.
One of the things to watch here will be whether or not Taylor can reclaim the same kind of chemistry he had late in his rookie year with Jimmy Garoppolo.
If it buds up again during training camp, that’s a good sign.
