No. 3: Derrick Henry (ADP: 32)

For the past couple of years, there have been hype trains surrounding Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry in the fantasy football community. I, personally, always chose to avoid Henry in drafts, but there was something about the tantalizing combination of his freakish size (6-foot-3 and 238 pounds) and game-breaking speed, which ultimately led Henry owners to frustratingly inconsistent seasons.

A good way to describe Henry’s performance is boom-or-bust. Henry has big-play ability, as he showed in his huge four-game stretch to close out last season, where he averaged 6.7 yards per carry and 25.65 fantasy points per game.

However, when he’s not on fire, Henry is mediocre at best, as he averaged 3.79 yards per carry and 6.98 fantasy points per game prior to those final four weeks of the season.

Henry is all bust with a little bit of boom sprinkled in, as an attempt to salvage his season. Especially at his high ADP, Henry is too risky to take and has a high chance of making your fantasy football season a lot more frustrating than it has the right to be.
