No. 1: Tight End George Kittle

There’s no reason to question George Kittle being the No. 1 fantasy football option on the 49ers. Last year, he showed he can succeed with any of the quarterbacks the Niners featured, including Garoppolo, but also extending to backups C.J. Beathard and Nick Mullens.

Kittle had that record-setting season in 2018, after all.

Entering this year, though, things could be a bit different. The maturation of Dante Pettis, combined with the offseason additions of Tevin Coleman and rookie wide receiver Deebo Samuel, could serve to take touches away from Kittle. And it’s going to be hard for the 2018 Pro Bowler to replicate the numbers he enjoyed last year.

He could come close, though, which still makes him a top-tier fantasy option amid a thin TE grouping.

It gets tricky, however, as other fantasy owners know that, too. Currently, Kittle’s 12-team ADP is 3.06, and his the No. 3 option at his position behind the Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles’ Zach Ertz.

It’s likely someone will reach for Kittle. But if he falls into Round 4 of your fantasy draft, be sure to grab him up.
