No. 4: Wide Receiver Dante Pettis

Arguably only Marquise Goodwin was the 49ers’ only wide receiver worth targeting last year. But injuries and personal tragedies kept Goodwin from making a serious impact.

Then-rookie wideout Dante Pettis wasn’t much of a fantasy football factor, either. Well, for most of the season. If you grabbed him over the last five weeks of 2018, consider it a wise and likely beneficial move.

Pettis’ final five games were impressive enough, and indicative of a solid WR2 in deeper leagues:

A full year in Kyle Shanahan’s offense, combined with Jimmy Garoppolo’s return, should serve to make Pettis even stronger an option. He’s adding weight, too, which should help keep him going strong against some of the bigger defensive backs he’ll face in 2019.

Pettis’ ADP is 8.05, meaning fantasy football fans are starting to grasp the idea he’ll be a solid WR2 or FLEX option in deeper leagues.
