Yetur Gross-Matos. 22. player. 49. . EDGE. Penn State

The Green Bay Packers hope to have taken care of some of the numerous problems they’ve had within their secondary the past two years, namely by grabbing safety Adrian Amos in free agency, then targeting Maryland’s Darnell Savage in this year’s NFL Draft.

Michigan defensive lineman Rashan Gary should help up front, too, although he might be better suited to occupy a role along the interior.

What’s needed here is a complementary edge rusher to make Gary’s abilities all the more effective.

As such, Green Bay should look no further than Penn State EDGE Yetur Gross-Matos, who broke out with 8.0 sacks and 20 tackles for a loss for the Nittany Lions in 2018. If he replicates those numbers, Gross-Matos’ stock level would climb.

For now, though, he’s a wise addition to what’s looking to be a revamped Packers defense.
