No. 9: Kentavius Street, Defensive Lineman

2018 ranking prediction: 9th

What I said:

"Unfortunately for Street, he’s last on this ranking for an unrelated reason. Street tore his ACL in a pre-draft workout for the New York Giants, and he’s almost certain to be put on injured reserve for this season. No production makes Street an obvious selection."

More from Niner Noise

2018 production:

There really isn’t much to say about this one. Defensive tackle Kentavius Street did indeed spend the year on injured reserve and didn’t take the field whatsoever.

I got this one correct, but it was a pretty obvious choice, which isn’t a reflection on Street, nor my ability to predict anything.

2019 status:

Street is now healthy and has been impressive lifting weights. He’ll have a tough job getting into the rotation with the additions of edge rushers Nick Bosa and Dee Ford.

That said, there’s always room for pass-rushers. If Street can show potential either on the EDGE or inside he can be a handy rotational defensive lineman.
