With the 2019 NFL Draft now complete and NFL power rankings necessary, Niner Noise dishes out post-draft NFL power rankings for each of the 32 squads. Where do the San Francisco 49ers end up landing in this version?

Altering NFL power rankings after the draft can be a bit of a silly exercise. After all, none of the 254 selections and hundreds of undrafted free agents have yet to play a down at the pro level, and most will flame out before they even gain a foothold with their respective teams.

That said, the NFL Draft can have a profound effect on the balance of power and those NFL power rankings between all 32 teams across the league.

Case in point, the San Francisco 49ers managed to land arguably the best prospect from this year’s draft, Ohio State edge rusher Nick Bosa, after he fell past the top-selecting Arizona Cardinals, who changed out their starting quarterback heading into 2019 by going with Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray to kick things off in Round 1.

In turn, that benefited the Miami Dolphins, who acquired the Cardinals’ former signal-caller, Josh Rosen, through a trade the following day. Just like that, Miami hopes to have found it’s long-term solution under center.

The Washington Redskins benefited by players falling, namely Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins, while the New York Giants reached for Duke’s Daniel Jones with their first pick in the first round.

Yes, the NFL Draft never ceases to entertain.

There are going to be a few shakeups and changes compared to Niner Noise’s last NFL power rankings dished out just ahead of the 2019 draft. Some teams, despite having excellent rookie classes, still remain at the bottom, while others stay at the top after not making too many splash additions.

Let’s kick these NFL power rankings off with Rosen’s new team, the Dolphins.
