Katie Sowers as Arya Stark

Early in the Game of Thrones series, a young Arya Stark was little more than a supporting character amid other storylines between her father, Eddard Stark, the then-ruling Baratheon family and the seemingly evil Lannisters, who truly held the power.

It wasn’t until the elder Stark’s sudden demise that we came to learn just how crucial Arya was to the storyline, blazing her own trails and taking her own path en route to becoming one of the more important GoT storylines.

Likewise, 49ers offensive assistant Katie Sowers is blazing her own trails after being little more than a side story just a couple of seasons ago.

And you can catch that story in the video below:

Sowers is a trailblazer in a male-dominated industry, much like Arya Stark, showcasing her own abilities to impact the game of football beyond what many would have expected when she was announced to the team’s coaching staff back in 2017.

Like Arya Stark, Sowers’ story is nowhere close to reaching its end.
