No. 2: Just for a theoretical situation, who would you pick at No. 2 other than a defensive lineman?

Tim Miller

Devin White, inside linebacker, LSU. Fast, natural playmaker. Was the QB of a very good LSU defense. Makes plays sideline to sideline. Hard hitter that lets the ball carrier know when he has arrived. White and (Fred) Warner playing side by side over the next eight years would be the next best thing to drafting Bosa.

I’ll go with LSU cornerback Greedy Williams. He has good speed and reminds me a lot of Denzel Ward. That being said, the earliest the Niners can consider a non-defensive lineman is pick No. 6.

Matt Stephenson

With the Niners securing the services of Dee Ford and Kwon Alexander, I would enhance the defense even further by grabbing corner Greedy Williams at No. 2.

Peter Panacy

Consider this a dark-horse candidate, but linebacker Devin White from LSU is a player who could go in the top five, and the Niners made a similar play last year by grabbing offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey when no one expected that. Linebacker is a need for San Francisco few are discussing, and White is a player defenses can build around.

You can’t go wrong with Devin White, who I consider the best prospect outside of Bosa and Williams. You can build defenses around players like White, who wears his heart on his sleeve and plays football the way fans and coaches want a man to play football.
