With the end of the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine and players moving via trade or free agency, Niner Noise writers got together to answer a few burning questions about the San Francisco 49ers and the team’s future.

Some exciting times for the San Francisco 49ers ahead, as a few splashes have been made and the 2019 NFL Draft is still to come as well.

It’s time to ask some questions to the authors here at Niner Noise, so let’s get right to it.

No. 1: Now the combine is done and dusted, who is the No. 1 player on your NFL Draft board?

Tim Miller

Ohio State EDGE Nick Bosa was No. 1 going into the combine and did nothing to hurt his stock.

Akshaj Dwivedula

Bosa. I don’t think you need to defend that pick. He looks special.

Matt Stephenson

Bosa is No. 1 on my draft. San Francisco’s pass rush has improved with the signing of EDGE Dee Ford, however another pass-rusher is still a need.

Peter Panacy

Bosa still. He wasn’t the NFL Combine’s biggest standout, per se. But he didn’t have to be. All he had to do was showcase that his off time from last year’s abdominal injury didn’t hinder him, and he did that. He’s still a cut above the rest, in terms of overall potential and immediate-impact ability.

Jeremy Wohlfart

Before the NFL Combine, I was totally sold on Bosa, with Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams a close second. However, I think it’s a case of them being 1A and 1B now. I think Bosa is still the pick, due to the 49ers still filling a bigger need.
