Nick Bosa. 1. player. 32. . EDGE. Ohio State

The past few mock NFL Drafts Niner Noise dished out have the Cardinals grabbing Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams with the first pick. After all, Arizona already has a prolific edge rusher in Chandler Jones, and Williams would go a long way in solidifying a rebuilding defensive line.

That said, the Cardinals are in a position to simply grab the top prospect available. Right now, the consensus choice is Ohio State EDGE Nick Bosa.

Bosa won’t have to prove too much at the NFL Scouting Combine, even though this will be the first on-field activities seen since his 2018 collegiate abdominal injury. As long as he avoids another injury or doesn’t go through a complete meltdown, Bosa will retain the spot as this year’s top prospect.

The Cardinals, meanwhile, are looking for impact players. Grabbing Bosa would mean avoiding a chance to upgrade the defensive interior. But two elite edge rushers are becoming the envy of today’s pass-happy NFL, making the Bosa selection a clear choice for Arizona.
