2019 NFL Draft: Two-round, 32-team mock amid scouting combine
By Peter Panacy
The Cleveland Browns have a nice stockpile of NFL Draft picks heading into April, which means they can splurge and not be too concerned about reaching with their first few picks.
That said, grabbing Ole Miss wide receiver A.J. Brown might not be a reach anyway. Like a lot of the Round 1 wideouts in this year’s class, Brown could see himself the top receiver taken on day one. Or it could be someone else. All the receivers’ efforts at the NFL Scouting Combine will likely help determine that.
Either way, the Browns would be more than wise adding a dynamic playmaker at the position, giving another potent weapon to up-and-coming quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Look for Cleveland to bolster the trenches with its next couple of picks after this one.
