The San Francisco 49ers are all but guaranteed to grab a top edge rusher in the 2019 NFL Draft, and Niner Noise lists the top 10 in NFL power rankings style.

Barring something crazy or unforeseen, the San Francisco 49ers are going to use one of their first two picks in the 2019 NFL Draft on an outside pass-rusher.

And, most likely, with the No. 2 overall pick if general manager John Lynch doesn’t trade down.

It wouldn’t be out of the question, however, to see Lynch target another position early if the value is better. Or, just as possible, Lynch attempts to move down from the second overall pick in an attempt to grab more draft capital and also adding a pass-rusher somewhere in the middle of Round 1.

Doing that might be a smart move. After all, the Niners have just six picks in this upcoming NFL Draft and no shortage of positional needs.

Grabbing an EDGE is one of those needs. Fortunately, the 49ers also have the No. 36 overall pick, which will take place in Round 2. So, if San Francisco holds off on an EDGE in the first round, there should be some available talent with its second pick.

And it’s a good thing this year’s draft is laden with outside pass-rushers, too.

To gauge what the 49ers may do, however, it’s worth ranking out the best edge rushers for 2019.

Here are Niner Noise’s top 10.
