No: 5: Lewis Billups of the Bengals lets a game-winning interception slip through his arms

Everyone remembers Joe Montana hitting John Taylor for 10 yards and the game-winning touchdown in Super Bowl XXIII.

What is overlooked is that Montana basically gave Cincinnati a shot at the win the play before. Montana has thrown zero interceptions in four Super Bowl games played. And Bengals defensive back Lewis Billups ensured Montana remained error-free.

With a shot at securing a Bengals victory, Billups fumbled the pick away as if it were thrown to him in the dark.

Instead of the turnover, the Niners celebrated their fourth Super Bowl victory.
