The San Francisco 49ers have played in six Super Bowls, winning five. This list narrows down the teams most memorable moments in those games to the top 10.

Every year, when the week of the Super Bowl rolls around, it’s impossible to leave out the San Francisco 49ers.

After all, the Niners were the first franchise in NFL history to reach five Super Bowl wins. That was the most in league history until the Pittsburgh Steelers recorded their sixth Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl XLIII over the Arizona Cardinals.

San Francisco nearly tied that mark, of course, just falling short of their own sixth Super Bowl win against the Baltimore Ravens back in 2013. Still, a 5-1 record in the NFL championship is nothing to scoff at. The dynasty era of the 1980s is always mentioned in Super Bowl conversations. So is Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young‘s record-setting performance against the San Diego Chargers in Super Bowl XXIX.

Niner Noise has already chronicled some of the best 49ers performances in Super Bowl history.

But what about the individual moments? Which ones stand out among the best for San Francisco?

In this slideshow, we break down the top 10 moments from all six Niners Super Bowl appearances, kicking things off with the team’s first Super Bowl score in what proved to be a magical season for San Francisco.
