Like the 49ers, the New York Jets also need a serious boost in sack production. Nick Bosa would be a great find, but the Niners already picked him up.

So the Jets go with another player whose stock has risen significantly since the end of 2018, Kentucky EDGE/linebacker Josh Allen.

New York recorded only two more sacks than San Francisco in 2019. The Jets’ chief pass-rushers, Jordan Jenkins and Henry Anderson, each picked up seven sacks apiece last season. Another linebacker-type pass-rusher coming off the other side would make this front seven exceptionally potent.

Good thing Allen had a three-sack performance in Kentucky’s Citrus Bowl win over Penn State back on Jan. 1.

After landing a premier pass-rusher, the Jets can then focus on finding some offensive weapons for quarterback Sam Darnold.
