No. 2: The 49ers youth will be coming of age

We all know tight end George Kittle and his amazing 2018 season, but we should not fail to acknowledge the other exciting young players that the 49ers have to boast.

Garoppolo, McKinnon, running back Matt Breida, wide receiver Dante Pettis, offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey and wide receiver Kendrick Bourne should be important offensive weapons for a very long time.

Defensively, linebacker Fred Warner is already a respected leader on the front seven. Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon should be a leader in the secondary for years to come, while the likes of other defenders like D.J. Jones, Marcell Harris, Tarvarius Moore, Elijah Lee and Solomon Thomas (since moving inside) have shown definite potential to be promising contributors on defense starting next season.

I haven’t listed every player, of course, but you get the general idea.

The 49ers have a lot of promising players that will only get better next season, and should be able to be promising Niners for a very long time.
