No. 2: Ndamukong Suh

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has been one of the most dominant players at his position throughout his career. Defensive Player of the Year, three-time All-Pro… I could go on and on with the accolades.

But John Lynch should take a hard pass on signing Suh.

Suh put together a pedestrian season for the Rams in 2018 until the team made it to the playoffs, where his play greatly improved. At 32 years old, Suh won’t be improving through the remainder of his career. He is clearly not the consistently destructive force he once was. Additionally, the Niners already have the next great defensive tackle in DeForest Buckner.

The massive price a name like Suh will get in the offseason, the 49ers should allocate to positions on the field not currently occupied by a Pro Bowler.
