No. 2: Wide Receiver Deebo Samuel, South Carolina (South)

Offensively, the Niners are far from complete. Despite an up-and-coming wide receiver in Dante Pettis, Kyle Shanahan would love to have a dynamic playmaker on the outside to take pressure off both Pettis and tight end George Kittle in the passing game.

Out of all the Senior Bowl participants, few garner as much attention as South Carolina wideout Deebo Samuel.

At 6-foot-0 and 210 pounds, Samuel has a bit of strength to his frame, which is good. Shanahan, of course, prefers speed over physicality. Fortunately, Samuel has that, too:

Samuel impressed on day one of practice as well, which should help boost his stock. And according to The Athletic’s Matt Barrows, this performance could likely put the South Carolina standout into the second round of the NFL Draft:

San Francisco selects at No. 36 overall, which hits in Round 2, if you were wondering.
