No. 1: A.J. Brown

A.J. Brown out of Ole Miss is another large receiver who has logged back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound receiver recorded 1,320 receiving yards from 85 receptions along with six touchdowns and a 15.5-yard average per reception for 2018.

The Draft Network reported:

"A.J. Brown projects as a powerful slot receiver who can be leaned on as a chain moving target in the middle of the field. Brown doesn’t have the short area quickness to play in more leveraged situations on the boundary, but his hands, contested catch ability and run after catch strength can shine brightly if he’s implemented between the numbers with consistency."

With his power and ability to contest the ball against defenders, Brown is generally seen as the No. 1 wide receiver pick for the 2019 NFL Draft.  It is unlikely the 49ers will get a shot at Brown as their first-round pick needs lay elsewhere.

However, if I had my choice of receivers, I would have to go with Harmon. The Niners should be able to pick him up early on day two of the draft.
