Niner Noise Big Board: Top 5

No. 3: Josh Allen, Defensive End/Linebacker, Kentucky

When it comes to mock drafts and fanbase opinion, Josh Allen seems to be the guy for the 49ers.

And, really, it isn’t hard to see why. You have an insanely talented pass-rusher who can play either on the edge or as a linebacker in the NFL. You believe fully in this kid and his ability to be an elite guy at the next level.

He’s not just versatile on his position but his strengths as well. We’ve gone over the pass-rushing aspects, but he’s also adept at defending the run and how he can beat his blocks.

Everything physically is top notch, and undoubtedly has the IQ and determination to improve in his professional career.

He isn’t perfect, however, and there are some little things that stop him from getting to the level of the top two in this 2019 NFL Draft class, but you won’t see me mad if he becomes a 49er come draft day.
