Niner Noise Big Board Top 5

No. 4: Devin White, Linebacker, LSU

For me, Devin White is the undisputed non-defensive lineman of this draft class. It’s really as simple as that. What’s insane is he’s still learning the position!

White is adept at getting into the backfield and taking down the quarterback or running back. He has the speed to take on tight ends in man coverage and the athletic ability to be proficient in zone as well.

White has been compared to Hall of Famer Ray Lewis, and looks a true three-down player in the NFL, who can do anything the team asks.

I would even go as far as to say that taking him at No. 2 is not out of the question for the 49ers whatsoever.
