42. . . . Cornerback Tarvarius Moore. 25. team

Rookie cornerback Tarvarius Moore received a lot less playing time than I would hoped he would get this season. However, an Ahkello Witherspoon injury pushed him into the starting lineup in Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks, where he promptly got beat by Doug Baldwin for a touchdown.

It was a rough start for Moore, but he bounced back nicely later in the game with some pass breakups on Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson that led to the first 49ers win against Seattle in five years.

Moore did get beat by opposing receivers a fair amount of times in the following games, but he also held his own. He looked solid for a safety converting to cornerback in his first year in the NFL.

Moore’s size (6-foot-2 and 190 pounds) will help him as a cornerback in the future, and he should develop into a quality starter for the secondary.
