team. 42. . . . Inside Linebacker Fred Warner. 6

Reuben Foster’s domestic troubles set the team back, as San Francisco invested a first-round pick in the inside linebacker. Thankfully, the 49ers found a gem in third-round linebacker Fred Warner to replace Foster.

Warner was an all-around great linebacker who could tackle and cover at BYU. His skills translated well over to the NFL, as he led the team in tackles by a wide margin.

You could tell from Warner’s first game as a pro that he was going to be great. He is a surefire tackler on the field and has great instincts.

The scary thing is that this was only his rookie year. He has a chance to develop into a cornerstone inside linebacker for the team.
